A bent stick, found in the forest, searches for its own balance. Only when it finds it, does it stand still, and point. Toward a direction we ourselves must give meaning to.
The Pointer plays with our urge to follow, to interpret, to project. What does a direction mean when we do not know where it leads? Is it an invitation, or merely a silence that presents itself?
The work balances between chance and intention, between matter and meaning. The stick does not point to a place, but to the unknown within ourselves.
